This is a work based Apprenticeship in Retail and Customer Service. You enjoy on-the-job training towards nationally recognised qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, guided by our assessors who provide one-to-one support and advice throughout your programme. You usually start your training at Level 2, depending on your qualifications and ability. We identify this at your initial assessment.
Course content
The Retail NVQ Level 2 programme consists of six units (one mandatory and five optional units). The single mandatory unit requires you to demonstrate how you work effectively in your retail team. The five optional units can be chosen from the following themes:

Who should apply?
School leavers / College leavers interested in a Retail career. You can apply for this course if you are interested in working within a Fashion / Sports / Department Store, Mobile Phone Store, Chemist, Supermarket, Bridal Shop, Newsagents, Car Spares, Electrical, Gift Shop, Golf Shop, Charity or any other Retail environment. We have great relationships with many local retailers and will be able to find your ideal placement.
