Getting a job is no easy task these days. You need experience or relevant qualifications just to get your foot in the door. That’s where Apprenticeships can open the door.
An Apprenticeship is equivalent to five GCSEs at A-C and will take between 9 - 12 months to complete, depending upon the NVQ being studied and the experience and qualifications of the individual.
Your Choice
We have a great selection of Apprenticeships on offer that get you the right skills to make a success of your career. These include:
Benefits
Your Apprenticeship consists of the following four elements:
National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) - Level 2
The NVQ is the most practical element of your Apprenticeship. It assesses the knowledge and experience you have within your chosen vocational area. It breaks down the key parts of your job into a series of units describing the skills and knowledge you need to do your job effectively. Completion of these units demonstrates that you can actually do your job.
Key Skills
These are skills you use all of the time - both at work and at home. All Apprenticeships include a Key Skills element in Communication and Application of Number. Once you have attained your Key Skill qualifications they are transferable to any Apprenticeship and essential in everyday life.
Technical Certificates
These focus on the theory of your job role and help you to acquire valuable insights into the sector in which you work. Technical Certificates are specific to your job and give you useful skills and background knowledge that you'll be able to put into practice every day.
Employment Responsibilities and Rights
This part of the Apprenticeship covers employment law and company procedures. It is designed to give a sound knowledge base of the employment rights and obligations from the perspective of both employer and employee.
